The Lurer
“Can I get a salt-grilled golden trout, please?” you ask.
The tavern is warm and cosy, a welcome change to the hard and cold road you’ve gotten used to on the trip to this village, Gaera. The golden trout is one of the easier items on your list, but one that you are particularly excited to experience.
The spindly man behind the counter looks you over as you sit down. “Can’t help you. All out.”
You stare at him for a moment.
