My name is Jaco van Hemert, and this is my fiction home on the internet. I write speculative fiction (in the broad sense, including fantasy, science fiction, horror, and all the subgenres in between), with a leaning towards fantasy and science fantasy.
In short, my guiding principle for writing is this:
